Not too late for a Raya posting huh?
Well.. this is us on Raya. Lots of food.. lots of people. This raya, we celebrated in our new house in Shah Alam. The kitchen completed just a day before Raya, so during raya, the kitchen kena belasah betul2 punya. I cooked few raya dishes, lontong, rendang, nasi tomato..but didnt take the pics.. no evidencela i guess. Managed to entertain few friends and my bros which specifically requested for those food..
But of course nothing beats the spread in Mama's house lah. Rumah penghulula katakan..
It was a simple Raya but definitely a memorable one, being the first Raya for us as a family of three and the Raya that we went so broke we dont even have a new anything.. well, accept for the new little guy.. which meant everything and more..

Hi Yeh,
Just a few more pics as requested.. Amir and everyone and Amir in your suit. He looked like a big boy in that suit.
By the way, more and more ppl are saying that he looks like you. I guess it's the lips and chubby cheeks..
We'll keep you posted with more pics..Dont worry, i told him all about you so that he wont be clueless when you are back later.

Amir miscellaneous - specially for uncle Yeh

G'day Uncle Yeh, heard you were heartbroken when Auntie Gja left Brisbane last nite. Sorry i kept Tok Ma occupied that she cant attend to you when you called to mengadu. 
Here's few pic of me sunbathing ( i got sakit kuning, which is normal for babies my age). Everyday Tok Ma jemur me under the sun just before my warm bath. Last Saturday I went out for the first time to the hospital cos mama was worried about my kuning. Doctor took my blood and I didnt cry, in fact I was wide awake and very calm. The nurse called me 'little hero'  . It makes mama very proud.
Also a few pics of my wardrobe collection so far.. By the way, thank you for the baju Uncle Yeh! I shall wear it and show it to you later k? And although it's cheap, pls dont buy me more baju yet, or at least buy me big ones to be safe, Tok Ma said I'm going to grow really fast cos I like milk A LOT! 
By the way Uncle Yeh, I'm a 'big boy' now cos my pusat tertanggal today. So now I can like naked on my tummy.. pics later as usual

We had a small 'cukur jambul' today.
Only org2 masjid and papa's neighbours were present. The ustaz didnt dare to cukur the whole head though so we made do with just potong sikit sana sini.. so Amir has a weird hairdo at the moment.
It was drizzling and very breezy morning. Just the right setting for me to feel overwhelmed with emotions when they selawat for Amir. And as usual, Amir Yusoff didnt budge at all throughout the process. Ayoh Loh said he knows a lot about PR and boleh bawak masuk majlis even at this tender age.

The leader has arrived.
We named him Amir Yusoff. Amir means leader, while Yusoff is his great granpa's name and it is also the name of a very handsome prophet, so.. why not we give it a try (hope the genes help too!)
At least Amir Yusoff is the leader of many2 kids we plan to have  and the batallion of cucu Papa wish to have
I was in pain from 2am 23 July, arrived at hospital 7 am and gave birth to him at 9.05pm. Was on pethadine and ethonox and doc induced my contraction and broke the water cos progress was slow. I thoroughly enjoyed the 'high'. He weigh a healthy 3.455kg which shocked many since they were expecting a whole huge bundle considering both his mama n papa are 'not-small-at-all'. He got a full head of black hair which again shocked us cos both me n jazmi are born bald.
The hospital, UMSC is highly recommended cos the service is really nice and homey. Food not bad and everybody was really professional and bill was almost half what other private hospital would pay. Only hassle is, the parking for visitors.. but when u're there for that much pain, wo cares!
I havent recovered all my sleep yet and wont be for the next few weeks(hopefully not!) cos poor baby got colic. Currently struggling with bfeeding..but determine to feed this little leader..
Uncle Yeh, now u know wat to get me when u're in Harbour Town! We'll send u more photos.. and sorry, i got papa's eyes, not yours!!

This is a special post dedicated to UEM Group for giving these young cikus opportunity to show what we are really made off.

Wont go into details wat it was about but it was hell of an experience, especially standing in front of a panel of company directors to present my little project at the end of it..AND getting the green light to go ahead with it!
To all my BLUE frens, thanks heaps for the help, company and humour that keep me sane for the interesting 90-days. You've made the journey a treasure!
And since it co-incide with the first trimester of my first pregnancy..you can imagine how it was like at home too. Thank you Jazmi for the understanding and encouragement.. hope our little one will benefit from this too.. early development exposurelah konon.

This entry is specially dedicated to Farez yang berada di perantauan. Though it's obvious that our absence was greatly felt.. the food finished as usual..tak tinggal sikit pun even for me when i return from Kedah.
Well, anyway, hope you had a great Raya too.. it'll definitely be something to tell your children later.."Dulu, papa raya sorang2 kat Australia.." << Eleh, no big deal, been there, done that!

Despite banjir and the fact that we cant go anywhere for the whole week and ALL my favourite alor setaq eating places were closed.. I had a fantastic time in Kedah. One thing for sure, i ate a lot of rice in Kedah.. duhh!!
